Artfields conceived. Artists met owner of Gone Fishing - Kenny Toh. He gave us carte blanche with his cafe space. Yahoo!
He offered us his 'Field of Dreams'.
We seized it and turned it into 'Artfields'.
TK searches for his ungraspable childhood dream:
making marks on the untouchable HBD flats walls.
The Player is conceived.

Proposals images. It's very difficult to represent what's in your head on paper, especially when it's not been built.
There's always nerves at this stage. Will it work on the actual site?
PEK dries some wild grass to calm nerves. There's rain too but it doesn't quite come through as you can('t) see from this image.

Leng's going first. When? We set a loose date. Our funding isn't in yet. We don't even know where we're getting our funding from. We've written to NAC - we have yet to hear.
The opening is slated for July9.
We've sent out the media release. First listing singaporeart.org. They are terrific folks - they don't even know us. Posted our release with full respect. Love them, love them.
